The day was perfect; a little sunshine, a little cloud cover and the location was every photographers dream. I couldn't have chosen a better day, a better venue OR a better team for our Rocky Mountain Bride "Gown Guide" shoot! The shoot was featured in the inaugural Canadian edition of the magazine! Eep! It came out last spring (2019) and I still can't get over the emotion I had seeing the images in print. It is a humbling and rewarding experience to say the least.
If you have never been to the Saskatoon Farm, (located just south of Calgary) it is a must see! It is one of my favorite places to visit in the summer; with the beautiful fields of Saskatoon berries and Sunflowers. The adorable little shops with trinkets and treats. They even have critters walking around - dogs, cats and chickens to name a few. That alone makes me want to live there, haha. Their restaurant has delicious homemade food and their greenhouses are the perfect spot for not just plants flowers, but for weddings too!
For the shoot we featured 3 gowns and took advantage of the variety of spaces we could use at the farm for photos. We also focused on the many details that are so important when photographing a styled shoot or real wedding.
The shoot was everything it was because of the amazing team behind it and I know for a fact, it wouldn't have been the same without each of them! Including Jessica; our beautiful model (who is also a photographer) who did such an amazing job! She is a natural beauty and fit the vibe of the shoot better than we ever imagined. Oh and that gorgeous pink diamond you'll see her wearing - it's actually hers! Wowza!
Thank you to ALL the amazing ladies who made this shoot possible! And thank YOU for viewing the gallery; I hope you enjoyed it!
